It is the company’s vision that everyone should pursue happiness above all else and to help fulfill that pursuit by providing a service that gives people the ability to enjoy and explore the world using vintage travel trailers.
The business targets any and all vintage trailer owners primarily located in the Pacific Northwest, however other inquiries have been received from regions of Arizona, California, and Florida. While still being established in the Central Oregon region, by year 5 it is the goal that we will be well known to the western half of the nation. The market for vintage trailer restoration is on the rise as more Americans are choosing to spend more time in travel trailers for living, exploring, or vacationing.
The business started in June of 2017 and is owned and operated by Jason, who graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Health Sciences and was employed as an analytical chemist, however decided to start his own company that would strive to help others live their dream travelling and exploring in the great outdoors, the same dream he had as a child. Life took a dramatic turn in 2017 when he was let go from his job, his father had passed, and received news of precancerous polyps during a routine examination roughly all within a week. The realization on how unpredictable life could be is what shaped the envision behind starting the business - to live life to the fullest; to create family memories; to see the world.
The primary objectives of the business over the next year are to:
1. Obtain commercial financing of $100,000 to cover start up costs and current operating expenses
2. Generate one new client a month by marketing on television for potential local clientele, on internet search engines to allow for broader clientele in surrounding areas, and attending vintage trailer rallies for a more personal and broader exposure
3. Generate a net profit of $40,000 in the next year of operations by developing strong connections with current satisfied clients and obtain good business reviews for attracting more potential clients and keeping overhead costs to a minimum
4. Develop and conduct workshops for local vintage trailer owners that provide instruction for vintage trailer improvements and troubleshooting
The office space is leased and accommodates the necessary space and equipment such as a myriad of tools, computer, fax machine and other restoration equipment and trailer supplies.
