We are a small dive center in Loreto, Baja California Sur, the Aquarium of the World!

We are the most specialized dive operation in the area and the one that can cater to more demanding and advanced customers, also the only one offering mixed gases, like NITROX and tek diving.

After its 5 years of operation, the dive shop has become the most reputable and highest-rated tour operator in Loreto (Source: Tripadvisor, Google reviews, social media reviews) over a long stretch. This includes not only diveshops but all the other existing tour operators. It’s also one of the best-ranked dive shops in Baja Sur by the same sources. This status has been sustained for the last 3 years straight.

We run a small, but very successful operation. We work all year round. We count on everything you need to start working from day 1, including our own 27-foot dive/snorkel boat, BAUER DMT Elite compressor, car + boat trailer, 30+ tanks, +50 wetsuits, +20 BCDs, and 15 regulators. We will continue running the shop until the new management comes along, so you will be profitable from the beginning.

We initially came to Loreto, one of the most beautiful places there is in Baja, because of the unspoiled nature, a ludicrous amount of wildlife, and of course, this slow tropical lifestyle! Even if we are moving on to other projects now, we will remain here as we love the place, and you will love it too! The diving is incredible and the amount of sites is almost endless.

Plenty. Loreto is booming. It's the fastest growing location in Baja Sur. We already have the numbers and tourist flow to expand double the size of the current state of the bussiness.

Competition / Market:

There is a very low competition right now and we have our niche pretty much undisputed. Loreto is growing fast so we expect bigger companies to settle in in the following years.

Reasons for selling:

We are very proud of what we have created here and we love how Business has succeeded and become the reference that it is today. The company has been kept small as this is the way we like it, but our success and the growth of Loreto is asking the company to expand. We reject a lot of business' and although that is a great problem to have, there is potential that is not being used.
We feel that we have completed this cycle and it’s time to move on other small sized projects that are more compatible with the life we want to lead in the following years. We prefer somebody else to take the lead and grow the company to match the growth of the destination. We will remain in Loreto as we love this place and is our home, and will continue to introduce new projects here and hope to collaborate with the new owners of business and help keeping it great. But we think it’s time for other people to grow the project to the extent of their desires and the market volume that Loreto is achieving.
We will still be an active part of the diving community here, we will just do it for fun this time :)

Trading hours:

Monday to Saturday, Sundays are off. The shop is open from 9 AM to 1 PM & 2 to 6 PM, and the tours are from 7:45 AM to 1:30-2 PM depending on chosen destination.

Support & training:

As part of the sale deal, we also offer:

- 6 month coaching period where we will help to train you and your staff, introduce you to the community and key persons of interest, providers and key customers. We want to ensure a smooth transition between managements and keep the workflow undisturbed and help you attain your desired standards of quality. We love this company, we want you to succeed.

- 6 month of counseling and technical assistance. We will help you to make decisions and offer guidance on any aspect of the bussiness. We will also offer our assistance in technical aspects like compressor maintenance and servicing, equipment troubleshooting, web development, digital work etc. We will also assist in the construction/adaptation of the new premises if applicable.

These are simultaneous periods, not consecutive.
