Autocraft and Autoland offer full servicing, repairs and MOT’s to all makes and models of cars. Autoland specialises in all Land Rover models and have an extensive service parts store.

They offer all the services a main dealer has to offer, and their skilled technicians have been trained to know Land Rovers and other makes inside out. They have diagnostics for VAG, Mercedes, BMW and many more as well as carrying out MOT’s for class 4 and class 7 vehicles at an average of 9-10 per day.

Being specialists in their field there are many repeat customers who come from far and wide.

There is a website ---.----------.--.--, which is for Autoland only, but there is not a website for Autocraft and the company has built its reputation on word of mouth advertising.

Therefore, there is plenty of scope to develop the business further by increasing the advertising and creating a website for Autocraft. Currently the business carries out class 4 and class 7 MOT's but there is scope to add other classes of MOT for further income.

Autocraft & Autoland is located in Houghton Regis, Bedfordshire. Houghton Regis is a town just outside of Dunstable and Luton.

Autocraft is located on a populated industrial estate close to the town centre and has ample parking for all its customers and employees.

Outside is a large bayed car park to one side of the building and there is further parking directly to the front of the building.

There is a pedestrian access from the main side car park and a full height roller door for vehicle access to the front to the main work shop area.

The main workshop area has 7 ramps, being a mix of 3 – 4 tonne and 2 – 4 post, there is also a MOT ramp and lane with rolling road which is currently set up for class 4 and class 7 MOT’s.

There is numerous diagnostic equipment including VAG, Mercedes, Land Rover and BMW. Specialist timing tools, air conditioning machine, tyre machines, compressor, lifts and jacks, gas analyser, in fact all equipment that is needed to run a garage such as this.

Off the main workshop is the Land Rover parts centre with service counter and stores area.

There is a door to a lobby that leads to the ground floor toilets and a further door off this area leads to the stairs to the first-floor main office area with all desks and computer systems to be included in the sale.

We are advised the business is being sold as a leasehold business opportunity. A 10-year lease was written in 2011 and there is an annual rent of £62,400. The landlord is flexible about renewing the lease at the end of the term.

Autocraft & Autoland generated an advised turnover of circa £600,000 as of the 2016 accounts. However, our clients have informed us that the draft accounts for 2017 show a higher figure and this has also been the theme for 2018 YTD
